Numbers 1

On the first day of the second month of the second year after the Israelites had come out of the land of Egypt, the LORD spoke to Moses in the Tent of Meeting in the Wilderness of Sinai. He said:

Then the LORD said to Moses and Aaron:

Numbers 3

This is the account of Aaron and Moses at the time the LORD spoke with Moses on Mount Sinai.

Numbers 4

Then the LORD said to Moses and Aaron,

Numbers 5

Then the LORD said to Moses,

Numbers 6

And the LORD said to Moses,

Numbers 7

On the day Moses finished setting up the tabernacle, he anointed and consecrated it and all its furnishings, along with the altar and all its utensils.

Then the LORD said to Moses,

In the first month of the second year after Israel had come out of the land of Egypt, the LORD spoke to Moses in the Wilderness of Sinai:

Then the LORD said to Moses,

Soon the people began to complain about their hardship in the hearing of the LORD, and when He heard them, His anger was kindled, and fire from the LORD blazed among them and consumed the outskirts of the camp.

Numbers 12

Then Miriam and Aaron criticized Moses because of the Cushite woman he had married, for he had taken a Cushite wife.

Numbers 13

And the LORD said to Moses,

Numbers 14

Then the whole congregation lifted up their voices and cried out, and that night the people wept.

Numbers 15

Then the LORD said to Moses,

Numbers 16

Now Korah son of Izhar, the son of Kohath son of Levi, along with some Reubenites—Dathan and Abiram, sons of Eliab, and On son of Peleth—conducted

Numbers 17

And the LORD said to Moses,

Numbers 18

So the LORD said to Aaron, “You and your sons and your father’s house must bear the iniquity involving the sanctuary. And you and your sons alone must bear the iniquity involving your priesthood.

Numbers 19

Then the LORD said to Moses and Aaron,

Numbers 20

In the first month, the whole congregation of Israel entered the Wilderness of Zin and stayed in Kadesh. There Miriam died and was buried.

Numbers 21

When the Canaanite king of Arad, who lived in the Negev, heard that Israel was coming along the road to Atharim, he attacked Israel and captured some prisoners.

Numbers 22

Then the Israelites traveled on and camped in the plains of Moab near the Jordan, across from Jericho.

Numbers 23

Then Balaam said to Balak, “Build for me seven altars here, and prepare for me seven bulls and seven rams.”

Numbers 24

And when Balaam saw that it pleased the LORD to bless Israel, he did not resort to sorcery as on previous occasions, but he turned his face toward the wilderness.

Numbers 25

While Israel was staying in Shittim, the men began to indulge in sexual immorality with the daughters of Moab,

Numbers 26

After the plague had ended, the LORD said to Moses and Eleazar son of Aaron the priest,

Numbers 27

Now the daughters of Zelophehad son of Hepher, the son of Gilead, the son of Machir, the son of Manasseh, belonged to the clans of Manasseh son of Joseph. These were the names of his daughters: Mahlah, Noah, Hoglah, Milcah, and Tirzah. They approached

Numbers 28

Then the LORD said to Moses,

Numbers 29

“On the first day of the seventh month, you are to hold a sacred assembly, and you must not do any regular work. This will be a day for you to sound the trumpets.

Numbers 30

Then Moses said to the heads of the tribes of Israel, “This is what the LORD has commanded:

And the LORD said to Moses,

Numbers 32

Now the Reubenites and Gadites, who had very large herds and flocks, surveyed the lands of Jazer and Gilead, and they saw that the region was suitable for livestock.

Numbers 33

These are the journeys of the Israelites when they came out of the land of Egypt by their divisions under the leadership of Moses and Aaron.

Numbers 34

Then the LORD said to Moses,

Again the LORD spoke to Moses on the plains of Moab by the Jordan across from Jericho:

Now the family heads of the clan of Gilead son of Machir son of Manasseh, one of the clans of Joseph, approached Moses and the leaders who were the heads of the Israelite families and addressed them,
