14 Wherefore they cried unto Hashem, and said, We beseech Thee, Hashem, we beseech Thee, let us not perish for this manʼs nefesh, and lay not upon us dahm naki [(innocent blood)]; for Thou, Hashem, hast done just as it pleased Thee.
