1MA 2:7

7 And Mattathias said, Woe to me! whereto am I born, for to see the destroying of my people, and the defouling of the holy city, and for to sit there, when it is given into the hands of (our) enemies? Holy things be made in the hand of strangers (or The Temple is given into the hands of strangers);
