MAT 26:55

55 In that hour Jesus said to the people, As to a thief ye have gone out, with swords and bats, [[or staves]], to take (hold of) me; day by day I sat among you, and taught in the temple, and ye held me not. (At that time Jesus said to the people, Ye have gone out like after a thief, with swords and bats, or clubs, to seize me; yet day after day I sat among you, and taught in the Temple, and ye did not seize me then.)
