17 David said to God, "Wasn't it me who ordered the people to be counted? Yeah, it's me who messed up and did some seriously messed-up stuff, but what did these sheep do? Please let your hand, O Yahweh my God, go against me and my dad's family, but don't touch your people so they get plagued."
