30 After King Artaxerxes had his letters read, Rathumus, Samellius the scribe, and their crew rushed to Jerusalem with cavalry and a massive battle-ready crowd to shut down the builders, so the temple construction in Jerusalem ground to a halt until the second year of King Darius of Persia's reign.
