34 So Menelaus pulls Andronicus aside and tells him to take out Onias. Andronicus goes to Onias, gets talked into pulling a dirty trick, and even though Onias is suspicious, Andronicus swears on his right hand like a true friend and convinces him to leave the sanctuary. Then, totally ignoring justice, he kills him right then and there.
