22 Our lute's been silenced, our song's gone mute, our joy's officially kaput, the lamp's flickered out, the covenant ark's been looted, our holy stuff desecrated, and the name we're known by disrespected; our free folks humiliated, priests incinerated, Levites carted off, virgins violated, wives ravaged, the righteous snatched, the little ones betrayed, the young men shackled, and the strong guys completely drained.
