4 Once the mourning period wrapped up, Joseph went to Pharaoh's team and said, "If I've actually landed in your good graces, could you please drop a word in Pharaoh's ear for me, like, 'My dad made me swear on his deathbed to bury him in the tomb he dug for himself in Canaan, so can you let me go up and lay him to rest before I head back'?
