24 Gideon sent runners through all the Ephraim hills to rally everyone, saying, “Get down on Midian and cut off their escape routes at Beth Barah, even the Jordan!” So the Ephraimites mobilized and took control of the waters all the way to Beth Barah and the Jordan.
