5 When the Israelites heard the news, they all rolled out together as one squad, chasing the enemy all the way to Chobai, and folks from Jerusalem and the whole hill country jumped in too (since word had spread about the chaos in their enemy's camp), while the troops in Gilead and Galilee hit their flank hard, slaughtering them until they pushed past Damascus and its borders.
