7 These are the kings of the land Joshua and the Israelites took down west of the Jordan—from Baal Gad in the Lebanon valley all the way up to Mount Halak, which climbs toward Seir. Joshua doled out the territory to the tribes of Israel as their inheritance, divided up by clan.
