23 So Solomon kicked the bucket and joined his ancestors. He left behind Rehoboam, his kid, who was a total dunce and clueless, and whose bad advice got the people to rebel. Then there was Jeroboam, Nebat's son, who made Israel sin and handed Ephraim a whole road to ruin.
