23 Joash, the king of Israel, caught Amaziah, king of Judah—son of Joash, son of Jehoahaz—at Beth Shemesh, dragged him back to Jerusalem, and tore down the city wall from the Gate of Ephraim to the corner gate, four hundred cubits.
