15 "I never stained my name or my father's name in this land of captivity. I'm his only daughter; he's got no heir, no brother near him, no son to keep me as a wife. Seven of my husbands are already dead. Why should I live? If it doesn't please you to kill me, show some regard for me, take pity on me, and let me hear no more reproach.
